i took off the top aluminum part that is under the lid to clean and polish it up. i sanded it for about an hour to get all the scratches out of it. it was looking real good. i then took it to the polisher and went to town with it. i thought it was done and was real proud of it. i then seen a little spot that needed touched up with the polisher so i hit it again. well i got it a little to much into the polisher and it went flying across the garage and hit the Rallye 350. i can't see anything wrong with the Rallye but it sure bent up the aluminum trim for the console. that is the first time i had anything get away from me on the polisher.

 

Park that Rallye in MY garage! Just kidding---hope you didn't hurt it. I am kinda looking for one if you know of a post, stick that might be available.

 

to tell you the truth, i have never seen a post Rallye 350 with a 4 speed. i am sure there were some but i just haven't seen any.
