Choke setting

70- 455. w-30
Having issues trying to get the choke to open all the way.
The carb is factory with the heat crossover tubes, but the heads have the heat crossover ports plugged/ blocked. So obviously the heat tubes arent getting hot enough to open the choke.
The f-w30 heads are blocked from factory i thought so..
Thanks

You thought wrong. Run of the mill heads have BOTH center exhaust ports connected to the crossover, which disrupts flow. The W heads (D, F, etc) have only one port connected. There is still flow through the intake. Your blocked crossover is obviously why your choke doesn't open. Convert to electric.
