This brake conversion kit
I would want to know how the park brake works, whether you're gonna need special park brake cable(s) and whether the park brake has ANYTHING to do with rear service brake adjustments.
Overall, I don't have a lot of use for retrofit rear discs when 11" drums are well-proven; and don't have a history of park brake problems, nor seized calipers that don't adjust.
I'm mighty suspicious of anything that uses a flat caliper mounting bracket that also uses calipers that GM always used with mounting brackets that supported the caliper between the pads (instead of on the inboard side using just the caliper mounting bolts), eliminating torque reaction and caliper twist.
I'd also want to know if I'm paying premium prices for Communist Chinese knockoff parts.
But that's me. I converted my '68 "A" body using parts I pulled off of a '75 Nova that was totaled, and have 11" rear drums 'n' such from a 73--77 Monte Carlo that--someday--will get installed.
