Bettie Page passed away the other day. I might have missed it but didn't see anyone post anything about it! Lots of people in here that may remember her aren't there? She was a beautiful woman!

Yes, she dealt with a lot of depression in her midlife years. Her classic appearance with the straight bangs and jet black hair are almost an Icon now in some circles of influence. You can see young women dressed that way in the rock-a-billy world quite a bit. Her general appearance has influenced the Goth people too I think, mostly in her dress, not her hair.

There were severl screen stars in the 30's, 40's, and 50's that had more sex apeal then any of the women you see on the screen today. Take any of the pin up girls from WWII for example
