Had a brilliant cruise up the Indian Ocean coast from Fremantle to North Beach. Blue skies, light sea breeze, waves rolling in to the beaches, about 30C (90F) following a friend's 68 Camaro. Enjoyed it going slower than the speed limit (so everyone could have a look! ;-) Living the dream...

Wife and I were on one of our extended road trips in Oregon visiting the wonders of Crater Lake, It's gotta be one of the most beautiful places on Gods earth.
We had been parked in a turnout admiring this aw inspiring site taking a photo opportunity trying to capture the uniqueness of it all . As we turned to leave there were about 15 people all crowded around our car taking pictures of the Mistress. Made me feel kinda good with all the competition around... Tedd

My best time was driving her home from South Carolina.
Best part of that was driving the Blue ridge Parkway and through the Smoky Mountains.

I agree 200% with you there - I remember it clearly, though it was 10 years ago.
I often daydream of cruising Oregon with my old cars 8-10 years from now when i retire there on the coast.
Don't you love it when that happens? Makes you feel really good about what you have.
Same thing happened to Lady in the Smoky Mountains when i was bringing her home. Went out for a 30 minute hike and I left her in the parking lot with the top down. When I got back exhausted, there was a mob of Japanese tourists from a bus tour wildly taking pictures and insisting on me being in the pictures as well.
I was in a bit of a hurry, but here they made me slow down and admire what I just got...

What a good thread! I can't wait to hear others stories!
After 14 years, The Hurst and I have had some amazing memories. I should start to write them down and keep pictures with it. A few that stand out in my head are being able to drive it on Michigan International Speedway when I was 15 and only had my learners permit. That was one of the coolest experiences to have as a kid. It's really hard to pick just one event that is my best.

I do think that my best time with the car is taking it on Onondaga Dragway this past year. My dad used to race there back in the early 70s and I always heard stories about it, I even drove by it while it was still a farm. I was ecstatic when I found out they were going to re open it. Naturally on opening day, I couldn't think of a better car to take out there. Granted it wasn't fast by any means, but it was the most fun my dad and I had in many years.

I've had so many good time in this car! She's been with me everywhere. Drove it on my last day I worked at General Motors, driving it in Lansing's 150th parade downtown, Drive in movies, meeting Linda Vaughn, and of course Woodward in Detroit. It's hard to pick just one!
