Any experts on 80's Build Sheets?

Does anyone know what the designation "C3" means on 1980's GM Build Sheets? It is found on the Left Side, above the dealer name, in a very large font.

My guess is that it means that it is a customer order, and not for dealer stock? Any ideas?

You may want to e-mail the GM heritage center with your question. They have been good about answering one brief question, without a charge.

I have an 85 Toro build sheet here with what IMHO .....

Were somewhat of an odd combo of options for a run of the mill dealer stock unit.

There is no C3 stamped on it above the selling dealer.
