adding rightside mirror

hello all;

looking through Fusick i see that they have what seems to be an identical right side mirror for my '98. The car does not have one and I don't really know if it was even an option for the time,but it is something i forget is not there when I drive the car and it's funny how much you can miss the usefullnes of that mirror.

So,opinions are welcome forget whether or not it was an option and add it for safety and how handy it is to have it or don't add it and keep the car as is?

Also if anyone knows if the rightside mirror was an option by all means post it.

Suppose to be a decent weekend here so I might get it out of the garage.

I put a right side mirror on my 55, I believe it was a dealer option at that time and I have seen pictures of them mounted from the front fender to the wind wing. Put mine where I could see the best, doesn't even match up with the left side perfectly but no one notices even at points shows. I would stick it where it works the best and not worry if it was an option( probably was though)....Tedd

I have a right side mirror on my '62. Don't know/care if it was an available option; indispensable, and looks good!

While several years back, had an old Pontiac, with a crummy looking single drivers side mirror. Took off the original, and installed both right and left sport mirrors, painted to match. Worked very well. Many newer cars have mirrors integrated into the A-pillar, so maybe consider this, so not having to drill into the door.
