AC Compresor ID?
AC Compresor ID?
I have a '70 442 convertible that I purchased several years ago. It was partially disassembled when I bought it with pieces stored both in the interior and the trunk. I finally started to go through the stuff in the trunk over the weekend. When I pulled the ac compressor out of the trunk I was a little surprised by what I found.
I was expecting the usual Harrison compressor but what I found instead was a Delco Air ac unit. I've posted a number of pictures below and I hope that someone can help me identify whether it would, on fact, be correct for my car? Not sure if it matters but the car was a mid-December build (12B) and it came out of the Fremont plant. Is it possible the CA built cars used a different compressor or is this out of some other car?
This forum is awesome and I know there are probably a number of members out there with the answer. Thanks for your help.
