72 Cutlass was it worth the $$$$

Got to the car it looked pretty good. Body ,frame and trunk looked good. So I asked to go for test ride guy couldn't provide so i figured something was wrong. Problem was he tried to make into stick shift found out he had the wrong pedals. It didn't have no brake @ all. No air condition. Interior pretty good other then Seats need some work. And it also need front and rear window trim. The seller wanted 3000 for it I talked him into taking 2000 for it. By the way I'm switching it over back to a automatic, started to sand down already seats coming out tomorrow. Will post pic when I get my friends garage. Fill me into what u guys think thanks.

It will all depend on the pictures. If the body is as you described and it runs, $2,000 is a good price based on what I have seen in my area.

What engine is in the car? That's a factor too.

From where I am in the U.K. 2000 sounds good to me for a 72 Cutlass especially with it being a 455. I paid about the same for my 72 but that was way back in 1989 ! Have fun with it, Paul.DPP07DA0501140E36[2].jpg
