72 Cutlass side trim

Is this trim factory for a 72? There’s a complete set on the car but I’ve never seen it before or was this some aftermarket thing that people put on? Thanks

It looks similar to the '72-only door ding trim.

OK thank you any ideas on value. I’ve never seen this before and I’ve had a lot of 7072s. I have a full set in pretty nice shape. Thanks Brandon

Some had black rubber inserts and others were like yours. Set is usually six pieces. Can ship in plastic plumbing pipe w taped ends. The picture shows one sent to me from California to St. Louis for 22.40. Seen people ask 100.00 to 175.00 for a set. Check eBay under the completed sale section accessed by clicking on the tab in upper right corner of screen. That will help give idea of actual sale price.
