I think the all black is 405137 or OEM SE32F? The black probably looks nicer on your car. They most likely used two different colors based upon exterior finish maybe? Don't know.

Appears to be some selection of them - no clue which is correct. You see this part number? 410629

And, this one which claims to be NOS....so many part numbers, so many claiming to be NOS...reads like Swiss Cheese.

Thanks for the links Norm, but I've already got an NOS stashed away . I was just curious about the red emblem. Do you think it would be noted in the ASM or the body manual?

Not really sure, Dave. I'll have a look when I get some time, maybe the part number is listed.

In the 1972 PIM/FAM it's listed as "Emblem-Rocket" - nothing more, no color, no part number.

No listings of the Rocket Emblem and no part numbers for the front Rocket Emblem in the Fisher Body Service Manual. I "suspect" the various models received a different color (perhaps style, as well). You had VC, sedan, coupe, convertible, CS, S, 4-4-2, etc. each may be different. Sorry, Dave.

I’m unsure where that emblem would go on the car. This is a factory original 1971 Supreme stone shield rocket emblem.

68, 69, or 70 trunk or hood. It is curved or flat?
