72 455 complete $?

72 455 complete $?
I have a chance to pick up a 72 455 w/t400 still bolted to it complete from carb and distributor to pan with about 68000 miles on it. He claims that it ran perfect when pulled, and claims the carb etc. is still in great condition. A/C and alternator brackets still attached. Anyways, should I look at it for a spare @ $450.00??? I think I already know the answer, but thought I would ask.

You do have options,
buy it for a spare or buy it to resell to me and make a little green
if a deal like this were presented to me...I'd be all over it like a hobo on a ham sandwich

Yeah, I'm with 'Red 71' on this totally; this is NOT the Engine and Trans you're looking for... BUT; what's this guys contact info. who's selling all that??
