I have a 1970 olds 98 convertible with power everything. The ignitino switch sticks on at times. The starter doesnt keep turning but the positive battery cable and the hot to the starter gets so hot it almost melts. What causes the switch to recoil? The key turns back but there is play in the switch. I think there is a switch under the dash on the column but was wondering your ideas. Thanks.
