'68 442

My grandfather passed this past week. 95% of the family was able to make it. Grandpa liked my '73 Cutlass Supreme so it was only fitting that I drive it to the visitation and the funeral. One of my cousins that attended reminded me about the 442 convertible he used to have and how we had good times in it and that he regrets selling it, so on and so forth. Then he rang my memory of our cousin "XXX" that had a blue '68 442 when we were kids. I remember that particular cousin and that the car was in good shape the last time I saw it. The paint was getting thin and there was surface rust. My cousin proceeds to tell me that cousin "XXX" still has the 442 and that it has been sitting in a barn at the farm for the past how many ever years. Ladies and gentlemen I am on the HUNT! Unfortunately cousin "XXX" is gone on a vacation cruise with his family. I will keep you posted. I don't want to get my hopes up. Because the car was cousin "XXX's" dad's car. If anything I'd like to get pictures of it just to post on here. I remember it was light blue with blue interior, no vinyl top and just the 442 badge on the fenders. I can't say what engine/tranny combo or options it had. Last time I saw it I didn't even have my license.
