What's the difference between "Safety Float" and "Safety Plate" glass? I replaced a very scratched up "Safety Float" piece with a "Safety Plate" piece in my 65. Float piece seemed to be slightly gray, while Plate piece was clear. Now all glass in my car is "Safety Plate" Looking for education. Thanks. Bob.

I have a 65 442, all the glass is marked safety plate.
