? 442 ?
? 442 ?
So I found this guy on Craigslist Advertising a 1968 442 for sale. In my opinion asking way to much(7500) for a car with no title, no motor or tranny. I decided to go out and check it out, i originally text this guy in March but just yesterday got a responce. Here is the break down
Body Plate- 68-33687
Vin- 334878M365008
There are no red fender wells but rather black blue AC Vinyl blue interior, 3speed automatic with center console. Rust around the front Windshield, floor pan and on driverside front fender
Trunk floor pan will need attention as well. Double hump for the exhaust rear sway bar and control arms. Could not check rear end because the tires were flat and no jack. For the price I'm not interested but if there is anyone else interested let me know I have the guys information. But my question is is it a true 442 or is this one of those cases that it's hard to know without documentation. Thanks in advance

are you sure you don't have a typo in the VIN number? 334878M365008 isn't valid. If it was 344878M365008 it would be a true 442.

I know its definitely a 344 in the vin and a M as the build location. Probably will have to go back on a sunny day to verify vin. It rained yesterday in San Antonio, real cloudy and it didn't help that the car was real dusty... I appreciate the feedback but I don't think I will jump on this offer NO tITLE plus the Guys asking $7500. It's a pretty good donor car if anyone is interested I have the guys information
