Smile 425 rocket value

Hi all!

I have a 425 rocket out of a 1967 Delta 88, has a nice Edelbrock carb but I don't know much about that without looking at it (it's in my family's barn up north and has been for a while). It was running well when stored, I took it partially apart to rebuild but haven't gotten the time to put it back together. I am getting married soon and am wanting to sell some of my miscellaneous things to help pay for the wedding. I also have a Turbo 400 transmission.

I was wondering, what would a good ballpark value for selling that? Like I said, it is partially disassembled, ie the heads are off, but I have all the parts, and have that turbo 400 tranny to go with it too.

Thanks for your input!

Zac

Welcome to the site, I would treat both as cores. Doubt you will get enough for both to really help in the financing of your wedding.

Welcome to the group... You are dealing with core values since the engine is apart and will need a complete rebuild most likely... You would be lucky to see $300 maybe $400 to the right buyers for 425 block numbers...

That might pay for the band.

Hi All!

Thanks for the responses. lansing, I am located in St Paul, Minnesota! Any little bit could help, a couple hundred bucks would help with the band or flowers for my bride or my suit!

Keep the Oldsmobile parts and cancel the wedding.
