Classified Section Rules
- ClassicOldsmobile.com is not a general classified ad site; please do not post for sale ads for your used car (unless it's an Olds or other classic car), your apartment for sublease, or your used furniture, etc. These types of ads will be removed. For instance, in the Parts for Sale forum, the forum is ONLY for the sale of Oldsmobile parts, or things that could be used with the vehicle.
- No selling stuff on behalf of other people. If they can't sell it themselves that's their own problem. Don't make it yours.
- No thread crapping. If you think something is over priced the seller will usually figure this out pretty quickly.
- No thread hijacking. (when someone posts a FS/WTB/FT thread and you post 'me too!')
- All items MUST have an asking price.
- All FS/FT/WTB threads MUST list where you are located in the heading of the thread by either City/State or Zip code.
- If you sell your item(s) please notify others by posting an update and/or asking a moderator to close the thread.
- Remember, there are people from all over the world here so remember to specify the currency (such as USD).
- Try to keep the number of NEW threads to a mininum per member (if you have 5 different things to sell at once don't put post 5 different threads).
Try to make your buy/sell/trade post subject look something like this:
> State if it is FS/FT/WTB (ForSale/ForTrade/WantToBuy)
> Describe the product
> State the price (With currency) (if it's a FS ad)
> State the location
> State if you are willing to ship
> Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words
> Use the specific section, put them where it belongs(3rd gen in 3rd gen section and so forth)

> Food item
> Alcoholic beverages
> Cigarettes or any other tobacco products
> Pharmaceuticals or any other controlled substance

> Any item which in ClassicOldsmobile.com's sole discretion is inflammatory, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with ClassicOldsmobiles.com's standards of business ethics.

Business Advertising Rules
These rules were put in place to preserve the financial status of this site. Hosting costs are VERY expensive. In order for us to continue providing it as a free service to users all over the world, we must generate some revenue. It's only fair that you, as a vendor, pay for promotion of your product.

2. If you cannot reach us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com then DO NOT ASSUME it's ok to advertise. ANY business advertising NOT ARRANGED with AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com WILL BE REMOVED.
3. Paying site Vendors must follow the forum rules just like anyone else. If a vendor is found to not be following them, this may be considered to be a violation of Terms of Service and their access may be revoked. If this occurs, any money paid will NOT be refunded.
