Thank you Jamesbo,
I see some similarity. Note the wire coming through the steering wheel.
It has been stated that the 4 spoke sport wheel does not need the wires???
Just to be clear does any have a photo of the 4 spoke wheel showing the way the horn button is connected??

My mistake Hamm, I thought you were referring to the 69 wheel. I don't have a 70 4 spoke

Sorry,

I am open to any help. I knew you stated 3 spoke. Just hoping somethings would be the same. I just do not see where Fusick would say the wires are not needed when I called??? I got everything from them except the wheel.

Just to be clear as mud. The 69 honker is in the spokes not the center cap.

I see. Just like the stock 72 wheel, it is in the pad, not the steering wheel itself.

It's in the plastic woodgrain inserts in the spokes [see above pics]

Today seems to be a slow posting day. Hang in there someone will have the pics you need. I guess alot of people are at Saturday shows.

This thread has a step by step installation of the 4 spoke wheel. Check it out and see if this answers your questions. John

Carl, according to John's link above, it looks like there should have been the "horn contact button adapter" included with the steery wheel installation kit. Did you use it? It should press on that large tab onthe horn contact ring, eliminating the need for wires.

They (Fusick) did not send one, nor did they charge me for one. I called and said I need everything except the wheel. They sent hub, horn contact and button.
Joe P. sent me an email with the part I need... I ordered two in case you want one Rob. I think I could make one, but for $10 eh including shipping I figure why mess up the original wiring for the spring.

Thank you, everyone.

Great post; he already had the part I was missing.
Sometimes I do not understand why I can do a search, not find what I am looking for, and there was one on the website (obviously)?

Don't feel bad, it took me a couple trys to find it too. I remembered that J.P. created the post to help others out, and since I remembered the post I kept trying until it came up. John
