Nice... Looks like calendar material to me.
Have any pics from the Golden gate Nat'l recreation / Point Bonita area? That is a swell place for pics, esp on a clear day! I sure miss it... Need to dig out the home movies I guess.

Just WAIT a minute! - is that top UP???

I hear ya on that! The angle of the sun rarely cooperates with where I am and what I want in the background. I guess that's why I always end up taking 50 throw away pics to get one keeper, lol... thank god for digital camera's!

I'm on a mission now... I definitely plan on being in the 2013 cut! That's gives me 11 months or so to wow you with some awesome Old's pics (with and without Krissy). I'm always chasing the perfect pic during our travels. Not the Old's... but I love this pic of my bike!

Nice pics of the bike!
When the sun is not in your favor, try forcing your flash on to help fill in the dark spots. It might work for the bike but maybe not for the car (too far away), depending on camera type.

Should be easy for you to get some good calendar material, living in such a scenic area.
You need to get some shots with Alcatraz in the background, too!
I miss that Bay area and the Marin Headlands - have not been there for several years...
May have to revisit and rent your bike for a few days!!

Ummm... I barely trust me with my bike!

Reasonable rates on HD rentals here, though. If you ever visit let me know & we'll ride... So many awesome m/c roads in the bay area!
I used to think PCH #1 on a clear day couldn't be beat... until we rented a Road King for week on Kauai... now that was amazing!

That's what I say about mine too... I have a slow trans front pump leak also. You'd never know it was a slow leak though, while the car is parked for a week or more it pools in the converter cover, then park on a slope and it looks like it took a leak.

I will take you up on a ride whenever I get out there again. I am dying for a ride along the coast, as often as I have been there and drove it.
Where is the nearest HD rental shop? I would have a rental car, so i could pick the bike up anywhere for a day or so; don't need the fly and ride (which is usually more expensive).
Heck, since I own a Sportster, maybe I could just check it as luggage!

Oakland HD (formerly Bob Dron HD)... I know people that have rented from them before the recent ownership change and had a good experience... I assume it's still about the same. There's also Eagle Rider is SF, they have HD's and metrics. If it was me, I'd seriously consider a Honda Goldwing for a coast ride. There's several other places in the area... but I think those two have the biggest rental fleets.
