Driveshaft thoughts?

Quick background: I dropped a stock 72 455 in my delta this weekend. Nothin fancy, just headers.

Here goes:
Motor timed to stock spec.
235/15'' rear tires (Kelly Chargers)
th350 trans with b&m off the shelf shift kit.
Driveshaft was balanced and u joints replaced with U.S.A. made greaseables 3 months ago, by a very reputable shop.

I did a few heavy burnout patches all the way up through 3rd gear to make sure if something was going to break it would break on the driveway. All was well.
Pulled her out on the road and hammered down. I made it about 100 yards, and the driveshaft pulled out of the rear yoke, mangling the straps. I checked the bolts in the housing and they were still in and torqued down tight.
I thought maybe the driveshaft shop forgot the C clips on the caps.
I could only find 1 cap, but it did have the C clip on it.

I doubt that the stock 455 has enough nuts to rip my driveshaft out without something else having been wrong. I've shredded the pinion gear in the rear end before without any issues with the same shaft in question.

Any thoughts? I'm stumped. I put a new u-joint in today and made sure the clips were on and seated properly. I guess I'll try and break it again this weekend.

Hmm.... Seemed ok, but I did pull out the 200C and put that 350 in it's place.
I shall research. The tape measure test was within 1/4'' though, and it fit on the old crossmember just fine.
Thanks.
