1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass

FOR SALE is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 W29. This is a documented 4 owner 64,000 mile car. It is painted in the original Sunfire Yellow (paint is about 25 years old and is near perfect) with the correct black W29 stripes.

The car features its original numbers matching Rocket 350 with 4bbl carb, Numbers matching TH350 automatic transmission, as well as its factory original rear end with W27 aluminum differential cover. The car is a factory A/C car still in perfect working condition.

This car is a factory black bucket seat interior (still has its all original interior (seat covers down to carpet) with center console. It has all the correct rally guage package with tick toc tach. The car has a power black top. The car is a factory Power steering, power disk brakes, power windows car. 15x7 Rally III wheels. This is a rust free and very clean and original car.

The undercarriage has been fully detailed to stock colors. The car also feature factory front power disk brakes. The car has all new front suspension and front brake lines. It has a factory rear sway bar and aluminum W27 rear axel cover.

This is a great showing and driving car. The car has recently shown at the 2014 Greenfield Village Motor Muster this June 14-15. Please let me know if you have any questions. The car is priced @ $27,500 NO JOY RIDERS, NO TIRE KICKERS

Do you know what factory produced the car? If it's any but Lansing you might be able to find the build sheet on top of the gas tank, and that goes a long way for collectors. The W29 package for 72 is not easily documented without either a build sheet, broadcast card or original window sticker. Good luck with the sale.

BTW, the W27 axle cover is an add on from a Previous Owner, as none of the 72's came with that from the factory. They do look uber cool, and I added one to my 72 also.

The hood stripes are correct for 72 W29, but the side stripes are not. They are W30 stripes. IMO they still look cool, but are technically not right for a W29 car.

Rally wheels (actually called Super Stock; or SS) were either SSII (argent gray) or SSIII (lower body color). Your pic is hard to determine if they are argent or black.

Some extra pics of the details you listed might be an incentive for more buyers - just thinking out loud.

It is a Lansing built car. I will add some more pics. my wording was off on some details. I like that the previous owner added the diff cover. I also forgot that the rally was Pontiacs term and Super Stock was Olds. I have the original bill of sale and POP
