magnetic parts?

What parts are both magnetic and effect oil pressure? I've got a low OP issue, drained my oil and got a bit of metal flake but it's magnetic. I was assuming a crapped a bearing. Could I be so lucky as to have just lost an oil pump? Anyway just trying to get a heads up of what I might look for. This oil pressure issue started with the previous owner. The fuel pump started leaking into the crank case and he never drove it, never found the problem. Car still runs, sounds great. No smoke, low OP when cold, then all but drops off when she's around 120 deg

No.
Not bloody likely.

Gauge is mechanical. Not sure the brand off had. Been in the car, tubing and all since the late 90s. Thought it may be a gauge issue until I saw the flakes in the oil. Hopefully I'll get some time to pull the motor out this fall. Just wondering what all I may run into. The fun of a slow job at night. Too much time to sit and think about it.

What weight oil are you running? What oil filter? What was the outside air temp when you made your video? While your oil pressure certainly is on the low side it still could run for a long time, the rule of thumb is 10 psi per 1000 rpm. Since we didn't see what the metal flakes look like and how bad, hard to tell if you have really serious issues at the moment.

Oil is a 10w40. Filter is a win spin on. Was about high 80s low 90s. Here is a pic of the oil I drained out of the car when I got her home. Unknown when the last oil change was, he took the car 13 years ago and put just over 3500 miles on her. He had a fram filter that looked worse cosmetically than the filters I pull off my 1 ton ram. Here is a pic of an oil sample I took from her.

A good portion if this was from the oil filter it's self. So there are more contamination than I'd hope would have been in the crank case
