The slot on the bottom of you picture is 0 degrees, the middle slot is 5 degrees before top dead center (BTDC), and the top slot is 10degrees BTDC.

If you squint your eyes, those are not holes, the lower marking is a 0, the upper is a 10.

Carburetor quadrajet

Kent in Sweden is a really the best one. I talked with him about the problem. After sending my carburetor everything was perfect rebuild with new setting in only 4 days. Really professional job with a lot of knowledge. A big report I get too. Not only a new gasket.....calibration new part etc. .....
So now I'm waiting for it. At home I would like to make finals setting on running engine - if necessary
Than I give you report about new work and performance

Thank for the help
Wojtek

You need to double check your settings once a year. You can reuse all the old parts until they are worn out. Glad your car is running well.
