I'm sorry for those who have been deeply disturbed or offended by some of the porno spam on the forums lately. Had I noticed this sooner, I would have taken action sooner.

I have deleted all of the porno posts that I've seen. If there are more, reply to this thread or email me the location to ed@classicoldsmobile.com .

To flank the spam, it is now a requirement to register an account before posting anything. This means no more guest posting access.


The BBs here is showing its age. Its time to update and move on. Once I find the time to move all 700 some users to a new system, I will. Though until then we'll need to live with this dinosaur.

I'm going to make a few more admins just in case more of this happens.

I'll not throw stones at you because I wouldn't have the time to run a board like this. And recent and ongoing hacks of other sites like ROP show no one is immune.

I applaude you for running this board and for tightening things up.
