I have a 1969 Model 98 with the 455. I am looking for some info on the correct ignition curve for this car, as my dizzy has the advance curve all wrong.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello, I myself don't know the answer to your qeustion however I know where you can possibly get some good help. Try going to www.summitracing.com, www.gr8ride.com, and or www.edelbrock.com. If you check out these sites they will have classic car parts for you and if you are un-sure you can e-mail them with your qeustion they always love to help. Also another resource is Autozone. The advance curve on most cars can be difficult for most novice mechanics. It requires changing distributor weights and springs in the correct combination to achieve a curve that matches the engines power curve. There are a couple of companies that specialize in Oldsmobiles and can re-curve the dist for you.
