455 engine stamping?

Am considering buying a 455 olds engine w/ block casting #396021f with E-heads, and block stamped 32m504944. What does this tell me? I want to install it in a 1977 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Give me your comments. Any info will help me decide if it will work for me.

The "2" in the VIN deriviative shows this to be a 1972 block, but the E heads were 1970 only, so the motor has been apart, or at least the heads have been swapped. It will bolt into a 77 Cutlass just fine, since the 455 was available in the identical 1976 Cutlass.

didn't want to start a new thread so i'll ask here first. what is an easy way to tell what motor is in my car? 67 olds 98 all original. i've always assumed its a 455 but i got to thinking and i'm not too sure. need to make sure quickly because i have to order a oil pan.
