Not sure what you mean by t style but here is the current one. The guy at the shop told me it broke while he was putting it in gear and appeared to have been broken before and someone attempted to weld it back but he said that wasn't a good idea because it was "pop metal" and would have eventually broke. So he put a bracket on each side to repair it. But I would still like to have a new one on standby in case this issue happens again in the future.
