My ‘68 came with W36 decals but I’m learning it wasn’t a W36 car, at least based on placement of emblem. I love the stripe and would like to get it properly painted. Is the emblem attached typically with tape or are there holes in the fender? Assuming there are holes that sounds like it is not worth it (read: very expensive ) to properly relocate the emblem. In the current location the stripe bumps up against the back of the wheel well. Any common sense options here?
