really need some 13" rims for my '62 f-85

I've searched everywhere for some straight rims for my 1962 f-85. I have a couple that look straight but don't spin straight. I've been forced to use one from a Nova on the rear since it has a different backspacing and hits the tie rod end. I'm sure someone must have some laying around.

I have heard that four bolt mustang wheels work, As well as Honda accord wheels But the offset is wrong
Sorry No spare wheels here.

Chevy Nova works also but with the wrong offset you can only use them on the rear. The 61-63 Buick Skylark will work but they are impossible to find also. I've heard that the Nissan Maxima has the same bolt pattern but I think they'd be 14 inch and I don't know about offset.

F-85 wheels

I may have a couple of them. Could you post a pic or 2 so I could make sure? I know that I have some 15" wheels but not as certain about the 13" s.

13 inch rims

I hope you can tell what it looks like from this or I can take another. The rim is 5.5 inches deep, 4.5 inches hole to hole across the center, 3 5/8 inches from the center hole to the back. It must spin straight. I have several that visually look straight but won't spin balance. Thanks

That would be the four bolt wheels from a 1964-70 SIX cylinder Mustang. I have aluminum slot mags on my 62 wagon that came from such a Mustang.

Thanks, but what did you do for the front wheels? You don't have a problem with the tie rod ends hitting? Is the backspacing smaller?

Wouldn't first generation Corvair wheels work?

I've never looked into Covair wheels so I have no idea about the backspacing.

First gen Corvairs have a smaller bolt pattern. PM me - I may be talked into parting with two of my 13" wheels.
