late 60's early 70's Vista Wagon
My bad habit of driving around and finding absolute junkers kicked in again.
This one's as described...I'll get pictures later probably. I couldn't get a good view of it, as it was heavily obscured by those tall, wide, bush-trees, and stuff...it had the long skinny bubble window above the back side windows. it *appeared* to be a rust bucket, and i did see some windows knocked out of it. I'll have to inspect it up close to see what kind of real condition it's in, i could only see about 10% of the vehicle. Naturally, I'm going to go see if they want to part with the junker for less than the other junker. hell, this one might even be running, or semi-restorable. If it's cheaper than the ninety-eight junker and has a 455, i think i'd rather have this. that, and they put a lot of posis in those wagons so i hear, and i can pull that unit for my other project =) I'll update in the next week or two with whether or not they want to sell it, so keep in mind that if i get it (instead of the other junker) that i'll probably part it out..so if anybody wants wagon parts... On a related note, I think I'm going to start a "Rusty Rat-Nest Junkmobile" thread, for people to post pictures of junkers rotting away in fruit orchards and the like...i think it would be a rather comical thread. |
