'39 F-60 4 door seats

Can anyone tell me if the seats in a 2 door F-60 sedan would have the same frames (size and dimensions) as the seats in a 4 door F-60 front and back? I have an opportunity to acquire all of these for my 4 door from a guy who has removed them from his 2 door but I need to make sure they're the same.

Thanks!

Fritz,
You might check out Fusicks and see what they list. I doubt if they sell complete seats but they might sell tracks, or covers, or hardware which would specify 2Dr or 4Dr if there was a need to because they were different. My gut feeling is that at the least the front seats would be different because a 2DR would require seats that tilt or move whereas a 4DR would not; probably a straight bench for the 4Dr and a split bench for the 2DR.

Quite a bit newer but the '48 model 66 I had was a 2DR and the seats were different from the 4Dr.

The seller did tell me that his front seat back is split but not the bottom portion. He thinks that other than the split, the seat frames and tracks should be the same and that the seat back should be able to be joined together before upholstry work is done so that the end result would be a single piece like you'd have in the 4 door. I was just hoping that someone might be able to chime in on this possibility to either verify or refute it before I purchase. I can't imagine that the back seat would be any different but I'm sure I could be wrong on that as well??

Good idea to check Fusicks to get some clues. I'll do that after work tonight.
