Should be a turbo 400 w/ a switch pitch torque converter.

i have a 65 olds dynamic 88 w/ th400. easiest way to tell is on the steering collum. if its a two speed then on your collum it will be (PRNDL) this will be a Jetaway. If its a three speed it will be (PRNDSL) on the collum and its a TH400. CHRIS

Note that this turbo 400 will be a long shaft and not readily swapped into a Cutlass or 442.

Clck the trans. through the gears. Six position = Turbo 400 (PRNDSL) five positions = Jetaway (PRNDL)

Great transmission but no speedometer cable. 65 thru 70 speedometers read off the drivers-side spindal.

Why are you selling it? The TH 400 with switch pitch torque converter is an awsome transmission. You aren't going to find a stronger transmission.
