will a 455 blot up to a 350 trans

i have 70olds and it has arocket 350 and trans, i was wondering if a 455 will blot up to the trans?

Just remember, it's better to be a smart@$$ than a dumb @$$...

Seriously, all traditional GM motors EXCEPT Chevy use what's called the BOP (Buick-Olds-Pontiac... and Caddy) bolt pattern on the bellhousing.

Not only will it bolt up to a TH 350, it will break it into a million pieces the first time you stomp the gas (maybe).

IMHO the TH 400 is a better choice for a 455, but the TH 350 is a close second.

they would normally last 3 weeks at least with me, bo no longer then 2 months. LOL
