350 Olds in a Firebird

For those who may have seen the thread on another forum, I just confirmed that the 350 Olds motor WAS, in fact, factory installed in Firebirds in 1977. The fifth character of the VIN would be an "R" in that case, but I now have confirmation from multiple sources. There is still some conflicting data - some sources show it as a 2bbl, most as a 4bbl, but all show the Code R Olds 350 for 1977. I guess this balances the 400 Pontiac motor that Olds used in the 1975 full size cars.
