Is this a ok install carb and intake combo?

Hi fellas, I was doing some looking around on the internet and was on Advance Auto Parts website when I was looking for a intake manifold and carb combo, and I pieced together these :

carb- Edelbrock CARB 800CFM W/ELEC CHOKE EDLBR

Intake Manifold- Edelbrock PERFORMER EPS PERMASTAR EDLBR

Keep in mind that I have a 1977 Cutlass Supreme Brougham, with a 350R motor, is this ok? The website kept redirecting me back to chevy fitted parts is this ok? If so tell me what edelbrock stuff to use, if these things are ok, give me a comment and let me know. Thanks.

Well, the intake mainfold link you provided is for a small block Chevy, so you'll have some difficulty getting that to fit an Olds 350. The bigger question, of course, is what have you done to the rest of the motor? If this is a stock 1977 350, an 800 CFM carb is a waste of money. You'll be hard pressed to flow 650 CFM. Also, if you want an Edelbrock intake, you need a 2711, 3711, or 7111. Period. Again, with a relatively stock low compression 350, the 7111 Perf RPM is probably out of your normal operating range. On the other hand if you have headers, a hotter cam, and higher compression, that 7111 might be a good choice.

Well now that I know this I will just get a crate motor then, because by the time I spend the money trying to get a new cam heads and changing the compression I might as well spend the same money and buy a crate motor. Is that a good idea?
