WOO

WOW, this engine is a lot better than it used to be. I painted it friday night, and i put it completely together saturday, then all day sunday i put it in and tuned it. it fired right up, and i timed it. I went through lots of struggles and what not, but it runs. I drove it to my highschool at like 5 thismorning and parked it. Today i fired it up for a second during 2nd period, and left with a friend, i came back and looked at it, the whole engine bay was coated in oil The pressure sender for my oil guage broke and sprayed oil everywhere, so now i have to fix that tonight... but it runs and drives great, i cant wait to open her up lol.

Nice job dude.

But what i'm wondering about is what kind of parts did you put in the engine? And what did you do to the motor machine work wise?

I tore it completely apart and bored it .020 over, i completely rebuilt it and used an edelbrock double roller timing chain, i put in a RV cam and i swapped out the intake with a performer RPM. i replaced almost everything on this engine including the harmonic balancer lol. ill put up some pics soon, just got a lot to do. It has around 50lbs of oil pressure at startup and doesnt get much lower. it has a really nice bumpy idle, especially after you drop it into gear lol.
