Olds 350 intake manifold

I have a Edelbrock performer 350 currently on my 350. Its a 72 block with head work done, mild cam, headers. Is the performer 350 a good intake? How is the RPM intake?

The performer is pretty much a stock manifold except it is aluminum. The RPM is lot better manifold and should work well with the mods you have.

I'm using the RPM on my 350 and it's great.

I agree but you may have more cam than he does.

oldsrocket - explain "mild" cam.

I bought the car with a engine rebuild. The guy told me it was a mild Engle cam it is a bit over stock. I'm not sure what the specs are but here are a couple videos.

Pretty mild imo. I'd try the spacer with the Performer first, if it helps then maybe go to the RPM but with those pee shooter tailpipes I don't see the RPM making any difference anyway.

I am using a Performer RPM/Holley 600 on a stock 330 and it was definitely a step up from the stock 4BBL intake, it works so well with a stock motor it should really like yours.

You don't have a flat spot from idle to WOT with a stock cam and the RPM intake?

It may only perform as well as a stocker but it does have a completely different runner design.

I certainly didn't realize it. Jpc647, why did you dredge up a thread from a year and a half ago?
