plug gap and timing
plug gap and timing
Ok I just finished rebuilding my 1970 350.
Could someone tell me what the plug gap and timing should be?
I think its .035 and 12 degrees
I have an MSD 6a ignition and pro billet distributor will this change the gap I need?
I'd rather ask stupid questions and get things right than to do it wrong.
Thanks!

.035 sounds like a good gap.
As far as timing goes, it depends on your compression ratio.
If it's pretty much stock, 12 is a good base, and in between 25 and 35 degrees total@3800 should be fine.

I'll be sure to post pictures and a video once I get the chance.
