We need a clubhouse forum or something
I dunno where to put this so i figured i'd throw it here.... i think it would be awsome if the forum had a category where members can talk about non car related stuff

I agree...I need a place to post the poem my little sister sent me last night.
![]() Twas the night before elections And all through the town Tempers were flaring Emotions all up and down! I, in my bathrobe With a cat in my lap Had cut off the TV Tired of political crap. When all of a sudden There arose such a noise I peered out of my window Saw Obama and his boys They had come for my wallet They wanted my pay To give to the others Who had not worked a day! He snatched up my money And quick as a wink Jumped back on his bandwagon As I gagged from the stink He then rallied his henchmen Who were pulling his cart I could tell they were out To tear my country apart! ‘On Fannie, on Freddie, On Biden and Ayers! On Acorn, On Pelosi’ He screamed at the pairs! They took off for his cause And as he flew out of sight I heard him laugh at the nation Who wouldn’t stand up and fight! So I leave you to think On this one final note- IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

I also belong to mercurycougar.net. On that site there is a section called The Den that is for just such topics. It too gets out of hand sometimes.
p.s. I just joined this group and will be doing an introduction soon.

You can use the "Other" sub-forum. It is kind of a catch all, or the "General" forum.

I don't think we should include politics or religion in our forum. I don't feel like hearing about politics on the Olds site when I can just turn on the TV or look at the news and get an overload.

I think it might be better if all the threads in General discussion went into the Clubhouse and do away with the General Discussion section. Just my .02.

To me the General section is Oldsmobile related. The Clubhouse is anything not Olds related.
Anyway.... Thanks Paul !!! That was quick! Don |

Like Changing the subject within Threads Growing up in the 60's Growing up in the 50's And leave the Genral Discussion to General Discussion of Olds Subjects

I know we all live in tense times, I just don't think this is the place for a debate.
On a personal level I like the line from "Charlie Wilson's War." "We'll See." I politely ask you again, please let's drop the subject. Thank you. Jamesbo

Will do and hopefully nobody else will pipe in on this subject. I think I will head over to the 60's debate , sounds interesting from what i have read so far.
