HEI dist. and carb. needed

I'm looking for an HEI dist and carb. for a 403. May also need the same for a 455, but, I don't have it home yet.

You could always locate those at your local auto parts store if you just want stock replacements.

I thought they were pricey? I haven't heard any good things about there reman. carbs. I didn't know the sold dist.

I haven't heard anything bad about remanufactured carburetors available through parts stores. In addition, there isn't much to rebuilding a distributor. As long as new bushings are put in it should last a life time. Do some price checking. You can also order those parts from Summit.

I don't have them, so, I need new ones, I guess. The last 4 barrel I tried to rebuild was 15+ years ago. I gues it's worth another shot. Thanks for the help Olds64

Parts store carbs will probably be 320 bucks give or take. I'd like to think the price has gone down though since the general population doesn't use them as much nowadays. Probably not though.
