1970 is going to be expensive. Last one I saw went for nearly $400 and the paint chips were damaged.

Was that price for the set of two books or just the fabric and paint chips. Are the 1971 and 1972 books worth about the same.

You could try Bill Sandy, who advertises in JWO, though as pointed out they will be expensive. billsandy1936@hotmail.com (845) 726-0956.

C&F book only. 1970, 1955 and 1957 are the grail of Oldsworld on these. 1969 is getting close.

Makes me glad I was able to get all my stuff before it went stratospheric.

You might be able to work up a good trade with the ones you have. PSI books to me are rarer than the C&F books. Complete year Service Guild/Tech Bulletin sets are not easy to find either in my experience. Several years of those I had to piece together two or three at a time.

I contacted Bill Sandy. Got a quick response and the prices don't seem out of line considering they have the full line of materials. They want 310 plus shipping for the 1970 colors and materials. That seems in the ball part if in nice condition. Not sure I want to pay that much but was not shocked since if I needed one I would be able to purchase it. Lee

Hi!

I've got a couple of 1970 binders. One is the Olds Technical Bulletin Binder and the other is an Olds samples binder but not sure which one? I'll dig them up and post some pictures this evening in case anyone might be interested?!

cheers

Thank you !

For those that might be interested, I uploaded the pics of the 3 1970 binders I have. I'll post an ad in the for sale section for anyone who might be interested?! To be fair I'll ask everyone to reply there if they are interested.

cheers

I am reposting this request for a 1970 colors and fabrics book in nice condition. Rallye350 had me chasing my tail and I am back to where I started. Bill Sandy does have one for $310 but I really don't want to pay that much and I have to trade the following: 1972 color and fabric very nice in incorrect binder, 1972 product selling in nice 1971 binder, 1971 product selling, 1962 dealer technical service and 1955 dealer technical service. Please let me know if you have the book.

Sorry for not selling the books to you Lee but your offer of $250 (with me paying the shipping) kind of falls short of the mark. It's ok for someone to ask $310 for one book but I should sell you all 3 for $250 and pick up the tab to get them to you?

Anyway, as I said I'm going to keep them for now and let other Olds fans enjoy them when I bring them to the shows. Anyone coming to the Olds Homecoming in June can drop bye and see the binders as I'll have them with me.

I wish you all the success in your endeavors and hope you can find a colours & fabric book for the price you're looking to pay.

Cheers

Exclamation

$250, but was that US or Canadian?

I've got one and $250 won't even make me open the cabinet and that's a lot more than I paid.

If it was Canadian I would have snapped it up in an instant!

I'm so glad someone has a sense of humour around her!
