Cheap Stock Steering Box for rebuild

I was wondering if anyone had a cheap stock steering box they wanna sell for a 1968 cutass or any years that will work. I want to send it to Chip for a rebuild because it's gonna take 3 weeks to have it done and I want to be able to drive my car in the meantime. He says that he has no cores in stock and it won't be until mid fall when he does. Thanks!

I've got some power steering boxes, how about $15 to cover my time, plus the shipping from Oregon? Let me know if you'd like to see some photos. I don't know your location, if someone closer has one you might save on shipping. I think it might fit in a US Postal Flat Rate box and if so that would keep the shipping costs down. John

Chip does great work and is really a nice guy. John is giving you a great deal and he is a really good guy to buy from.

BerBer,

Please let us know how the rebuild goes and what you think about the improved handling. I plan to send him my box some time next year when I get around to the steering renovation...

Fifteen bucks for a core is a good deal...

I'll take one man. That would be a godsend. I'm going to do a whole suspension set up from mark at savitzke or however you spell that all around and then the steering box rebuild from chip. Do you have paypal? It would be shipping to 21114 and it's abusiness address. Thanks again! Tell me where to send the money.

Chip is one of the kids on "My Three Sons" .

I'm pretty sure it's the guy at this place.

The pump should be matched to the box if it's power, he may need that too unless he has them.

Yeah I sent john a pm about seeing if I could also buy a power steering pump off of him too. I'm excited about the upgrade. Everyone says it makes a huge difference.

Cool! That seems like it would be a good investment.

Chips is a long way from the guy you would meet at the country club with a sweater over his shoulders and a wife named Buffy. He is an older guy and one of the best people you can ever do business with. He is also an Olds guy.

Cool, I was just messin' around. I don't golf and I don't even think there is a country club in Lawton, OK.
