Rare enough that I did not have mention of them in the pulleys database. Very pretty. Maybe I have had a KO 3 groove WP pulley but have not seen the ID stamp due to rust.
If ony I had the measurements of these pulleys now, to add to the database...
And a clue which length WP the fit properly on....

not sure I got a pm
I had 'em sorted by diameter, did not go up far enough to find the KB 3g listed:
KB: 7.90 OD x 3.0 overall width
~1.25-1.30" measured from mtg surface to center of nearest [aftmost] groove
3-groove WP unit "KO" I have listed as PN 409807 at 5.75" OD.
apps include
With AC, 1972 1973 1974 1975 Olds:
all 1972 w/ AC or HDC system; 1973-1975 Toronado w/ AC
I cannot add 5.9" as a water pump length for this set, because as far as I know WP's come in lengths of 5.1, 5.6, and 6.1", plus or minus 0.1". Records indicate that PROBABLY in that era the shorty 5.1 was the std issue WP and HDC/AC cars used the 5.6" pump. If you have a WP casting ID I can determine its size from that.
Thanks!

Octania, sorry, was running from memory and the pm was the nderise to pick these up.
Here's the entry from the Oldsmobility list:
71-72 350 with A.C. or H.D. Cooling height: 5.95 part#: 231073 casting#: 407586
5.95" height. Translate as appropriate.
Oddly, the same year 455 entry says 6.07" height with the same casting.

NOTE: Misread frequently as 407586, but photos of RS samples clearly show that all samples are 407536 upon close inspection.
407536 or
407586 = #3 casting [the huge prominent ID]
6.0-6.1" Length x 1.8" inlet nipple
Same size for fitment as the ultra common #4 casting
Apps: 71-72 w/ AC or HDC [including W30 w/AC]
So, by this time the shorty 5.1 WP had been dropped and the Medium 5.6 was std cooling with Long 6.1 WP used for HDC/AC apps.....
