Yes, red. The maroon, claret, brandywine, etc are much darker.

No apologies necessary, but I guess since they are new and clean you could buy a can of SAM dye and make them maroon then you would have a new set of maroon GM floormats. I have done this before and it works great!

Good idea. What year are they correct for? I have friends with 84s with claret interiors.

I would say any late 70's or 80's GM mid to full size as most I have seen had carpeted floor mats. They are decent in size too so they will look a lot better than those little excuse for floor mats that the parts stores have had over the years.
