Recently while gutting my kitchen and attic, I came across a paper sack that included 24 individually wrapped piston rings. There are 12 slotted oil rings and 12 tapered compression rings and they are in perfect condition, maybe because of the hot, dry attic. They have been there 50+ years. Weird story, but I know the guy who lived here for a 1/2 century worked for GM in Lansing. I had a guy at Ottoworks in MD tell me what I had were GM FACTORY ORIGINALS for a 1941-48 Olds 6 cyl 238 cu. I know very little about cars but I am an old soul at heart as well as a history teacher and want to find these a good home. I know some are big on original parts...and I can't believe there are many original rings out there from the GM factory meant for a 1940's olds! Make me an offer...contact me for pics and/or more info on the packages/specs.
