Vintage American Racing 200S
Not Olds rims but I thought I'd post them up here just in case.........
I have a set of vintage American Racing 200S / Daisy rims is super shape. There are two 14x7 and two 14x8's GM 5 x 4 3/4 with the screw on center caps, very thick at valve stem and they have no markings anywhere - only SEMA stickers. I was told they were from 1969 and based on the info I am able to find and info I have I believe it.
**Listing separate post for 2 Firestone Wide Oval White letter tires /
G70-14. They have no miles on them - one still has the sticker on it.
Asking $650 for the rims plus shipping
I can send pics to e-mail

Redoldsman - I've tried a whole bunch of times - tried different things and just can't get them to load. I have plenty I can send and can also take more if needed.

Ent72,
Ya' I thought my price was very good / fair....I may not be asking enough so I'm gonna stay firm.
They came off of a 64 Chevelle that had been covered in storage for 40+ years. The 14x7's were on the front and the 8's were in the backseat since they were too wide for the skinny wheel well the 64 has.
I really don't think they are re-pops based on info I can find. There are no markings anywhere on them, they are very thick, have screw on caps and the casting matches the old style I've seen pics of.
I sent pics to American Racing and they also think they are old. Based on what I could find the 200S came out in 68-69 or so. Another reason I think they are that old is because of the tires that were on them - original Firestone Wide Ovals mounted on the 14x7's and the one tire still has the old sticker on it.
As far as polished - only polishing done was with some Mothers Mag cleaner. They were dirty and faded and I spent about 30 mins tops on each. Wish I had something to put them on !!!

Ya' I wish I had something to put them on but don't right now or I'd keep them. They are really clean - just bad timing and they are worth too much to sit on until I find something.
I see you have a 1967 442 listed a s one of your cars. My Dad had a really nice 67 442 vert with a factory 3-speed and 52 ,000 miles on it. It was 1 of like 90-something built. I was too young to appreciate it when he sold it - boy do I wish I was wiser and had it now!!!

Dang those look nice !!!
Are those 7" or 8" on the back........? I have a guy asking if the ones I have would fit a 66 Cutlass or not. If you have 8's on the back I think they should fit a 66 then since their wheel wells are even wider than yours.

I have 14x7's all around on my '65 with 215/70's up front and 225/70's out back. I took a look under my car and a 14x8 with the right offset would probably be fine. I would measure the offset on the 14x8 and give the '66 guy that spec and let him decide if it would work for him. Given the '66 does have more rear wheel well room, the 14x8 should work (again, depending on the offset).
Not sure when the set on my car were made but they also have the bolt in valve and are embossed with American Racing on the back. The center caps are not the screw in type...instead, they snap in. I would say they're probably 25 or more years old.

When I saw yours was a 65 I wondered if they were 7" on the back. Mine came off of a 64 Chevelle and the 8's were too wide.....that's why they were sitting in the backseat and are in such nice shape.
I gave the guy all the backspace / offset info.....so we'll see.
Mine don't have any embossing anyplace, even on the backside - that's what made the guy from American Racing think they were 69-70 when I contacted them. Again - Thanks for the info.......

Need some input / info on the rims I have if somebody could help.
I have somebody interested in my rims and they have a 1979 Cutlass Calais and want to know if the rims will fit.
We both are pretty sure the 7's will fit the front no problem but not as sure about the 8's on the back. If they will fit, any idea on tire size to run with them.......?
American Racing 14x7and 14x8 200-S / Daisy / Coke bottle rims
GM 5 x 4 3/4
Backspacing 3 1/2"
4 1/2" offset on the 7" rims
5 1/2" offset on the 8" rims
Appreciate any info
Thanks !!!
