Arrow Steering Wheels : 83-84 Hurst - 85-87 442 Style & 1 Late 70's T&T

I had another steering wheel for sale thread going ... but I have (2) more to ad.

The other thread was already a bit mucked up .....

So I thought it be easier to just start a new one.

I have (4) steering wheels total available :

$100 shipped to the lower 48 ... except the last (4th) one. ***

1 - 1983-1984 "partial wrap" Hurst/Calais style 2-spoke - Maple Red - SOLD.

1 - 1985+ full leather wrapped 2-spoke - Taupe/Mocha/Cocoa/Med Brown.

1 - 1985+ full leather wrapped 2-spoke - Dark Blue - SOLD.

1 - Late 1970's Full-Size Tilt & Telescopic - Black. ***

*** No Pics - detailed description - or price on this one yet (def will be NO more than a $100).

I need to give it a good going over yet & take some pics.

Consider this just a "heads up" on this one at this point.

If you would like an update when I have the pics & description ... just let me know.

I'll shoot you a PM when I update this thread.

Take Note - none of these steering wheels have the lil' horn spring/wire lead.

Payment via PayPal is preferred ... but I am willing to accept payment via snail mail if necessary.

Please send a PM if interested.

1985+ MEDIUM BROWN FULL LEATHER 2-SPOKE -

The brown wheel - very nice with only very minor flaws.

The center cap is not the original one, as it did not have one when I got it. I had to track down a spare & paint it to match.

The paint came out very well & is a close match, but it is not 100%.

There is also a few paint chips on the backside of it that are not noticeable once installed on a car.

The pics are a pretty accurate representation of the actual color. It is definitely not dark brown, nor is it a saddle/tan color.

It is however the color of what most later saddle/tan interiored cars had for a dash & steering column.

1985+ DARK BLUE FULL LEATHER 2-SPOKE -

Nice shape for the age ... maybe a pinch below the condition of the brown one.

The center emblem & ring could benefit from a lil gentle rubbing with a mild plastic/lense type of polish.

This one was SOLD back on July19th.

Bump TTT.

While PayPal is preferred ... I would be willing to accept a snail mail payment if absolutely necessary.

Also - for those not in the lower 48 ... I'd be willing to discuss that as well.

Do you still have the black tilt and tele wheel? If so, do you know what car it came out of and do you have pics of it?
thanks!

Yes I do.

I need to wipe it down - take some pics & post them.

The exact year & model it came out of is unknown.

But IIRC ... it's a 77-79 style wheel from an 88/98/Toro.

The 77/8 Toro woodgrain insert might be a different shade than the 79 Toro ... as well as the 88/98 woodgrain.

Ok show me the pics but it doesn't sound like it will work for me from the description.

Thanks,
John

John,

Still need to get that wiped down & pics taken.

==============

In other news :

And then there was ..... ONE.

The 2-spoke brown wrapped wheel is now SOLD.

Also ... did some house-cleaning on the prior sold wheels - previous "Bumps TTT" & other non-essential jibberish.

Leaving up the details on the brown wheel for now .....

Till the transaction is complete & it's in the new owners hands.

Got the wheel today - very professional packing job for sure!
However, despite 5 clear efforts to define fragility and what side of the box is UP, UPS left it on my front porch swing on its edge, kinda like this...

Truely a lack of education in our society.
OR perhaps they knew exactly what was in the box and knew that standing it on its side would cause no harm and that if it fell, it would not be damaged.
Geez...

Well I'm glad it got there safe & sound.

The packing should have been professional ... very very professional.
(some sarcasm to be explained below)

My wife took it to the shipping store for me & let them pack it as I didn't have a box it would fit in

Which speaking of packing & shipping .....

Do me a favor & measure that box in came in for me if you could.

Part of the reason I chose to let them box it up, was it was reasonable in the past & they do a good job.

Sent the blue wheel just like it (that was listed here) to AZ as a matter of fact for under $28 which included their box & packing ... which I thought was reasonable considering.

Unfortunately this particular $ituation went waaaaaaaaaaay above & beyond that & I'm not a happy camper.
(keep in mind this is NO reflection on you)

I think they may have gone a bit overboard on the size of the box which put the cost of sending it thru the roof.

And I have every intention of going over there with my previous receipts for the other steering wheels I shipped ... to express my less than happy take on the situation.

The box measures 18x18x6.5" and the wheel was 15" dia x 4" tall.
Therefore it was a perfect size. In fact I plan to reuse this box when I sell off my '72 sport wheel later on. I sure hope it did not cost more than 28 as even that is a bit too high in my opinion.

I would have been overcome with joy if it was only $28.

But I got hammered with dimensional weight when the last (2) times I did not.

I still intend on going over there with my other (2) receipts.

I sure hope you get to enjoy it.
