NOS 4.66/4.67 gearset for "O" rear (factory race car item)
Have what appears to be an NOS(?) ring and pinion set for "O" rear.... and a pretty rare one...
If it's not NOS, you can't really tell it... may as well be NOS, factory lapped only... it's nice and shows no real sign of use.
It's a 4.66 (4.67) ratio for the '67-70 Olds "O" rear (12-bolt cover, 10-bolt ring gear)... this is factory race car stuff, and was available as a dealer-installed option.
Included in the old GM box is:
--ring gear
--pinion gear with bearing installed
--bearing race in a box
--crush sleeve
--shim
--ring gear bolts
--Oldsmobile Division sheet # 405278, which states: "Dealer Installed Performance Rear Axle Gear Package (For F-85 Series) 4.66 Ratio (42:9)"
The paper sheet and the old GM box are falling apart now, but the sheet is still very readable with a bunch of codes and info. The sheet refers to the 1969 service manual, so I guess this one was made in '69.
OK, well.... that's what I have here. Pretty rare Oldsmobile factory/dealer race car item.
Asking $350 plus Priority Mail.
If interested in purchasing, please e-mail me DIRECT at blown394olds@yahoo.com instead of e-mailing me, thanks.

BTTT...
Pretty certain it's just factory lapped NOS, it's in an old blue-letter GM box, the crush sleeve has never been crushed, the bearing race is NOS Bower in the original box...
I have seen USED 4.66's sell for $300 without the other extras the very few times they've even come up for sale. Nobody needs this?
