1970 455 block, crank, E heads in NJ

Would prefer to sell as a package, disassembled 455. Did not check heads to see if they are 442 heads as of yet. Block has crank bolted in. Rods are out. This came with my 442 project, light surface rust. Could be a stick crank have not checked. No intake, cam, lifters or small parts. Pick up only in central NJ. Have no history on parts so sold as is. No pictures yet. Thinking $450 for everything or good offer. Email with questions j.blusnavage@att.net

Sale Pending 6-5-2012 SOLD

Since I am in the Trenton area I use Martyn Motors in Morrisville Pa. They have done Olds engines before but I would not call them specialists for Olds. If you tell them what you want they will do it. They also make recommendations which for good or not equals more $$ in labor for them. Since I had my machine shop work done by them I supplied the pistons cause they knew not where to find them for my E block... It does not hurt to double check any shops work as far as remembering to install oil galley plugs. I did all the assembly for the most part so I was satisfied with the machining they performed.

Looks like someone machined an adapter bearing for the 4-spd,much like what I have done lately.A factory drilled 4-spd crank has the pilot bearing set inboard.

Looks like there is no interest in the package so heads are for sale 160 for the pair. Crank 140 and block 100, any interest first come first served will not hold unless paid for via paypal. Thanks, prefer not to ship.

I have no idea on how to ship. I have shipped heads UPS and cranks Ups. Packageing is tough and shipping expensive. I would also prefer someone look at the stuff in person before purchase as I do not know any history on the parts and dont really want to start measuring things...

fwiw I see a couple of guys looking, I used Larry Hansen ( no Relation) at Hansen Racing
http://www.hansenracing.us/ he wasn't the cheapest but I was more than satisfied with the service and the little extras he did, he wasn't the most expensive either, another guy that gets high recommendations is
